Not exactly new, but new to me. Watched the first 3 episodes of Season 1 tonight on Netflix. (was bored)
Came away actually impressed. The wrestlers and action are actually pretty damn good. You will see shit on here that people in WWE can't (or won't) do.
I will say that nearly everyone on here seems to be juiced up. John Morrison (Johnny Mundo) looks like he put on 15-20 solid pounds. Chavo Guerrero looks to be bulking. Son of Havoc is better built than the majority of the WWE stars.
I would recommend you watching the match between Prince Puma and Johnny Mundo episode 1 and the triple threat match of Drago, Fenix and Pentagon episode 3. They really put on some good shit. That package piledriver into an over the shoulder piledriver (or death drop if that is what it is called) looked brutal.
The tv camera work is top notch too. Better than WWE. The down sides.... Stryker and Vampiro are horrible announcers with a very limited phrase book that they reuse over and over again in every single match. Chin Check... bar fight... would you like to add something Vamp.... etc.... uggghhhh...
Plus you have to see Vampiro and Konnan looking like fat sleaze bags. Shells of themselves. Konnan is the worst because you know he actually believes all the gangster and barrio shit he talks is his true lifestyle. (He was pathetic in Sullivan's Dungeon of Doom with his "gang" gimmick.) Plus the floor seems to be dirty as hell. Every time someone goes outside the ring, you see dirt, dust and grim plastered all over their backs.
But would recommend it for a quick viewing. Good action. Just keep the remote handy to fast forward past all the dialouge.
