Is 35 too early for ARTA?
« on: April 05, 2017, 03:34:00 AM »
Maybe -aj- or some of the other getbig elders can chime in. I have noticed that my triceps are not as full as they once were and have been working out pretty regularly for the last four months or so. They just don't seem to be responding the way the other muscles are this go around. Is this a beginning sign of atrophy, am I overcompensating with another muscle group, is it all in my head? I've added about an inch cold to my arms so I know they've responded, but I'm nervous I may have contracted ARTA.

I see old pics of me in my 20s and my tris were huge and hanging without even trying. Now, they are strong as fuck, but basically invisible. I am actually trying restricted blood flow training to try to blow some size into them.  ARTA is real.

Not sure when it started. I didn't notice it really until my mid-40's but it could have been going on for a while. FML.

Too early, must be stress, diet or other lifestyle changes.

Age related tricep atrophy. It's term coined by -aj-.

Too early, must be stress, diet or other lifestyle changes.

There may be something to this. I have back issues that have progressively gotten worse. Maybe a disc issue or something.

Trying the "more food, more carbs, carb cycling" approach ATM. Results pending. Getting bigger tris while sharpening up the abs is the goal. Minimal gas.

Not positive what area is or how you would contracted however Nike shoes will absolutely affect bicep tricep chest and back. I forget which the river in pigeons affect which muscle groups such as a compressed C5 C6 will affect the top of the upper arm and forearm and index and middle fingers while the C6 and C7 could have felt the tricep and bottom of the forearm and their pinky Android fingers now I can have those mixed up

I work in neuro therapy , a lot of spinal injuries , some complete

But most with C-level injuries almost always lose tricep stimualtion - which leads to major atrophy

Always thought Guys getting mild nerve damage in upper spine experienced some form of atrophy from nerve damage
