Really docent matter until he step onstage however...looking big in clothes is one thing...

Personally I would like to se him improve...it would be nice, fun...and he made the whole shit interesting again for me...im looking forward to se all his pics and training clips...all other pros look the same all the time, pretty boring, this is more interesting to follow...

His teardrops looked thrashed at the o and he wasn't showing them on that instagram photo. His back was actually the most glaring weakness last year, from the front waist up he wasn't embarrassing himself. His skin looked off also, but I guess his being bigger will fill that out.

Even if he did it wouldn't make any difference. Sucking down to comp shape most of that will come off again. If his "problem" was knee trouble at the O how come his upper body was basically as bad? It's not injuries that's the problem, it's age. The muscle looked old, skin wasn't the same and so on.

No I don't agree at all. Stage lights are a totally different setting, can't compare the pics. Did he deflate last minute thought? Don't think so really. Excuses about last minute screwups are overrated. Same with gym mirrors - a guy can look shredded in the gym but look 15% bodyfat on stage.

Stage lighting:  Almost always wayyy too much light, producing almost no shadows and therefore a lot less perception of depth - making basically no physique look as amazing as it truly is.

The only reason this "last minute screwup" bullshit is around at the magnitude that is used - is because it suits the pro to go along with some shit about how they fucked their water up, rather than the truth that the stage lights are the true test.

Kevin looked great at the press conference. At the show the next day he looked depleted and IMO he pulled too much water. As far as the legs I don't think they would have looked much different as they didn't have the muscle size that his upper body did so showing them at the PC wouldn't have done him any favors.

Kevin IMO does look a lot bigger now than say a couple months after the Olympia and looks pretty damn lean too. This is no trick of the camera. I told a buddy of mine when I heard Kevin was going to compete again that he would end up at Oxygen Gym sooner or later. I'll go out on a limb and predict he will shock some people with how he will look at his next show. Where will he place? I have no idea nor do I care, I just hope he looks more like his old self. I think his upper body will surpass his last showing before he retired and his legs will be on par or slightly better with his last show before retirement. I do think he will have a very dense grainy look that he hasn't had in years.
