I used to drive people to dialysis. In a 5 year period I saw probably 70% of them die.....Often I would pull up in front and the EMT's were there. Or I was waiting outside I would hear sirens in the distance and automatically move the van because the ambulance was coming.
The patients would stagger out of Davita nauseous and often with blood streaming from their arms, sometimes running down the wheelchairs all the way to the ground. Depressing job....
