No, like bgm said, witnessing them see someone treat someone badly or inconsiderately. Does it matter to you when you see  take a date out and she treats the waitstaff bad? Or if you visit a friend and he treats his lady like dirt?  People constantly say that so-and-so is a nice person or good people, and objectively, it seems like that's not the case A LOT. But does it really matter?

I didn't say I specified it. In the initial post, I thought it was obvious that I meant having definitive knowledge about how a person treats others, but I guess it wasn't obvious so the follow-up was meant for clarification.

I try to avoid judging people by first impressions partly because I am am nbad at first impressions myself, so I like to see people for what they are over time, and 100% not based on whether I agree with them or not.

Just a rant but I hate nowadays where people hate each other based on differing opinions, ie big example would be politics. It's just an opinion for fucks sake, who you or I vote for in the end is nobody's fucking business nor should it be, nor should it be taken personal.

Shouldn't judge at all but we all do. That being said, yes in most cases but I also judge people by the way they treat me.

Yes. I judge folks by it if I can get a reasonable bit of full story or I've been around them enough to know how they act usually. It's like the old Frog and The Scorpion fable, chances are that if something has shown itself to be shitty multiple times in the past, it will probably be that way to you too.

I also judge folks on the way they treat most animals too.

I try to judge people based on how they treat me.  However if someone is just a complete asshole to everyone else around them, I try to avoid them.  Most people are nice, there are just a few sour kunts here and there but the majority are nice.  The problem is that society is structured to isolate all of us to some extent.  As a result we are sort of naturally defensive or guarded around most others, especially those we don't know or those that are way different.  Take the gym for example.  If you start chatting with people here and there, you will end up knowing most everyone at your gym and I bet most of them are pretty cool.  But the first time you walked in you probably thought to yourself "what a bunch of douchebag brahs".  The people that think all humans are automatically shit are generally very isolated people who have severe social issues.
