This thing is ~ 15 bucks and works great
It's just a lid and a metal mixing hook

Works even better for natural almond butter which really turns into a brick in the jar

Thank you, Straw Man!  Didn't even know such thing exists.  Just bought me one.  Made in "America, F#@k Yeah!".   ;D

Go into any farmer store like Sprouts, Henrys, whole foods, jimbos etc... and you can grind your own nuts on the spot.

But the texture is off  :-\  kinda like fluffy baby poop

Nautral PB without palm oil is shit.  It's just a cement block of ground peanuts with 2 inches of oil on top.  You need a stable version or you're just mixing shit all the time splashing peanut oil all over the place.

Mix it once (which agreed is a PITA), but then keep it in fridge and it won't separate.

Nah, not the same.

Bottom layers always solidify.

Been there, done that.  Half of it dries out and turns into brick.

I've used a spoon or a butter knife until I bought that stirrer thing

As someone else mentioned the spoon (or fork or knife) tends to splash the oil around and often out of the jar and you don't get as good of a consistency (at least I don't)   Especially true for natural almond butter which can be like half dried cement.
