The infamous " Area 51" , the US secret test base has no wall and is HIGHLY secure.
Anyone who dares to breech the perimeter is immediately apprehended.
Even the air space above/around is totally secure. I suspect most of our nuclear facilities
have similar security??
The high tech "electronic fence" is a much better barrier.

I actually worked on a ASP ( ammunition supply point) security detail in the USMC for 4 months.
It was pretty dull 99% of the time, and we guarded the stock pile of weapons on the base.
They were stored in large , earthen bunkers with thick , steel blast doors.
My duty involved fairly mundane stuff like M-16 rifles, grenade launchers and anti-tank shoulder fire weapons.

Anyhoo, there was no giant wall around the ASP perimeter , but trust me is was VERY secure. .

Building a physical wall on the southern border is just a "symbol" many Trump supporters crave.
It's a large waste of time and money for the USA.
The El Chapo drug runners , use tunnels under any physical barrier the US puts up.

I want illegal immigrants busted and our boarders secure.
In my experience, more trained border guards with high tech walls, will work MUCH better!

So I guess they could use his money they have. It's the same as it was before they had him in custody.

We do need a physical barrier.  But instead of a wall - i would suggest just having roaming hyenas and wild dogs and snakes etc.  A lot cheaper and more lethal.
