Not impressed with the guy playing Lenny. Gone well over the top with the accent and just sounds like a retard but Bisping as Roy Shaw might be alright.

Well, Lenny did have a distinct look and size, don't know any current actor that could do Lenny justice imo.

Yep Lenmy really wanted Fairbrass, shame that didn't happen.
This guy hasn't got the size for Lenny, facially not too bad for a young version.
The accent and body language hmm, it's like Jack sparrow trying to do an impression of phil mitchell

Maybe the film will be good itself, but yea this is a major drawback straight away,  main character being unlikeable.  It's like the director or actor didn't even watch one interview or movie with Lenny in.

This was a great pick. I'll hold my opinion on the movie though, as it's a hard part to cast, especially now, with actors builds being the way they are. Thinking about, you'd really need to go back a couple a couple of decades to find guys that could've pulled it off well.

There were a few fights that nearly happened that would have been very interesting but didn't for one reason or another. Bronson was released from prison and went straight on the unlicensed circuit were he had a few fights including one against a rabid dog, or so he claims! The top name at the time was Mclean and he says he wanted to fight him but he only lasted 69 days at liberty before he was back in prison.

I wonder if the film will be any more truthful than Lenny's book? In it he claims to have had over 3000 fights and never lost one but he lost at least six in the ring including getting knocked spark out by a bloke called Cliff Fields twice.
