Assange is right: she has no one to blame but herself. She was unlikeable, incredibly dishonest, and inauthentic. That's why she lost. Looks like she is too arrogant to just go away and spend her money.
Assange to Hillary: 'Blame Yourself,' Not WikiLeaksBy Joe Crowe | Wednesday, 03 May 2017
Hillary Clinton should place responsibility on herself for her election loss, according to WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
"You can't blame WikiLeaks when what we leaked was your words and positions. Blame yourself," Assange said in a Wednesday tweet.
Clinton spoke Tuesday at a conference, saying, while she takes "absolute personal responsibility” for the election loss, she also partially blamed WikiLeaks’ releasing of a trove of emails hacked from her campaign.
She also took aim at Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Jim Comey, who announced eleven days before the election that he was looking at new emails in the Clinton probe.
Commentators have slammed Clinton for her comments. Joe Scarborough of MSNBC's "Morning Joe" called them "pathetic."
Clinton showed "nothing but disrespect" for working Americans and others in the contents of the emails, according to former Gov. Mike Huckabee, R-Ark. Her comments are "ridiculous," he said.
Assange has been a longtime critic of Clinton. When Clinton was secretary of state Nov. 30, 2010, Assange told Time magazine Clinton should resign over diplomatic cables the site had published.
