At one of my previous jobs, we did a lot of business with asian countries and I had to travel to korea and japan occasionally. On one trip to Japan, a client told me that it's common to eat the tails on shrimp and I've been doing it ever since, largely because I always thought it was classless and disgusting to pick off the tails and leave a plate of them. Anyway, fast forward to lunch today and a Benetton's ads worth of co-workers (two of whom were of asian descent) seemed shocked that I ate the tails on shrimp. The thing is I've seen other people doing this since I started, so I didn't think it was so strange. Am I weird, getbig?
