I fully realize I might be late on this and a lot of you probably already knew, but for those of you (like me) that didn't know:
Diet soda is basically just as bad for your teeth as regular soda :-
I drink so much of it. I don't really have a weight issue, but as I've talked about before on here, I love processed sugar, I know it's potentially dangerous, blah blah blah, etc.
I started drinking diet soda years ago primarily to cut down on sugar, but I was convinced that an added benefit was that consuming less processed sugar was good for my teeth. I just found out today that the acid in carbonated drinks is actually the most erosive part, so drinking a ton of diet soda is basically as bad as drinking a ton of regular soda. I guess I'll just stick to infrequent/moderate regular soda consumption and water. The wasted years
