At the risk of sounding even more like a c**t than usual, I think back to all of those poor stone age bastards who fought their way (and their genes) through the ages to give me a chance at this thing called life.  Let alone my recent ancestors who fought in actual World Wars - and survived - to give me and my offspring a chance.

So there's no f**king way I'm going to just give it all away because I'm having a bad time - I appreciate the amount of human effort that went into just giving me this one single shot....

My ex gf of 7yrs from 16-23 her dad hung himself two days ago. He was the victim of a crazy fuck wife who hit him, verbally abused him and drove him crazy. He gave her everything, massive house, brand new huge camper van to travel in as she won't fly, home gym, best of everything. Seeing the devastation it's caused to my ex and her brother (I called to offer my condolences) would put anyone off suicide, your loved ones suffer too much.

The will to survive is amazingly powerful. I've know folks who were self-destructive most of their lives, yet when they were dying, they fought like hell to stay alive. I've also know people who were terminally ill and chose to let go rather than fight.
