I saw the thread and at first I left it alone. Then I said, wait a minute, I can't believe this guy would really think 315 for 6 was a lie. It's not that much weight, really! I had registered here as Pazuzu a few months back, and I can't even remember why - I'm sure one of you can find the first post - maybe it was when someone said I had implants before and I was wondering, where are those implants? Nothing on my physique is so great that it would be mistaken for an implant or Synthol.
I don't think I'm 'the shit' at all. But I have been around a long time. I've competed in 20 shows since 1989. I've had a couple thousand magazine articles printed since 1993. And my web site has close to 4,000 people that subscribe to The Daily Pump, which I have done over 700 editions of since I started it in 2002. I love training and I love competing, and I enjoy helping others reach their goals in both. I know I will never be a pro and I don't want to be a pro. It's a rough life and a hell of a way to try and make a living, especially compared to most other pro sports. But if I can be remembered as someone that got a lot of solid information out there (and yes, a few articles that were purely for entertainment value, like the infamous after party articles), that's great.
By the way, I was at Craig and Kelly's final after-party last October in Vegas. I knew something was up when I saw Craig outside, smoking, before we got to the door, and he looked a lot smaller. Talking to him and Kelly for a little while inside, I knew they were out of the sport for good. I just had no idea it would end the way it did. We had made our peace, and he insisted I sit with him in the little VIP area so he could tell me about the new women's federation they were going to start. For them to be arrested at the same nail salon my wife used to go to, so close to us, was like something out of the Twilight Zone.
