right, so there is no connection between unemployment claims and the unemployment rate
the unemployment rate is probably 28, 29, as high as 35. In fact, I even heard recently 42% but unemployment claims are lowest since 1988
I guess that makes sense if that 42% of eligible workers who are unemployed are no longer eligible for benefits
Seems like the more people that are unemployed who are no longer eligible for benefits would lead to a lower level of claims but that still leaves the core problem of up to 42% of the workforce being unemployed.
Either that or there is some correlation between UE claims and the UE rate but then that means that Trumps claims of "28, 29, as high as 35. In fact, I even heard recently 42" is TOTAL BULLSHIT and we know that's not possible
