the next 5 shows after New York's NOC will be in Europe, where there is a big BBing following and very little IFBB coverage.  Should actually do well, IMO, if marketing and run correctly.  There is a demand for the service wayne provides with the PDI

Same thing happened in boxing.  Remember the 80's when you had a fight on for free every weekend.  Those fighters made a minimum of 100,000 a fight.  Even 1 million wasn't unheard of.  John Tate and Duane Bobbick each got 1 mil fighting on ABC and you say who?   Now, even with ESPN showing live boxing twice a week, the fighters are lucky to make 10K.  Even the main enters are getting 100k tops.   Only the best of the best will get more than that and now were talking PPV.   That just the way the economy dictates.  Less sponsorship, less $.  The death of Do Koo Kim (who)  when he fought Boom Boom Mancini lost sponsors and brought out  the moral minority, which put a downcast on the future of boxing, until cable saved it from becoming as obscure as bodybuilding.

That reminded me of a joke:

A:  Boom Boom Mancini!

The demise of boxing has more to do with pay per view in my opinion.
People like to see the stars of the sport on TV, but Don King moved them to Pay-Per-View.
After that move the stars of the time made money, but people lost the connection to the sport.
Pay-per-view has had the same affect on other sports, like bodybuilding.
It is easy money at the start, but by the end only the hardcore people follow the sport.

Shouldn't that be "proposed" shows in Europe? When I spoke to Wayne on Sunday he told me that he was coming to London to look at some suitable venues. So as far as the UK is concerned the only thing confirmed is the date.
As for the IFBB recieving "very little coverage" you're misinformed. It's WABBA and NABBA who get very little coverage in the magazines here.

I didn't mean coverage in the magazine sense.

I meant coverage in the venue sense- the IFBB is not covering those geographical locations.  They don't have shows there- this is the 2nd straight year with no Euro pro after the 04 tour sucked.

Where are you getting your information?
There are 3 scheduled IFBB shows in Europe this year. If anyone is interested in finding out more details on those shows, the individual promoters details are publicly available. PDI info can only be obtained through Wayne.

Lee Priest will bring a lot of fans to the NOC.
He is one of the most popular pro out there so it is a good thing for the PDI

Well, the show is 6 months away.  Shawn Ray started pushing the Colorado Pro posters when Lee haney was still the reigning Mr O...

Yes, the PDI is appearing to be that way.

Kevin you really are anti-Wayne.  Luckily the only way you'll get in a PDI is by paying for a ticket.  SO be prepared.  Better yet stay home and practice taking pics of flowers or whatever else you do in your free time.  Whats going to be really funny is how you won't be coming on here very much after the announcements.  At least it's a great way to rid of you.  You may want to call Shawn and find out what the doctors name was who took his foot out of his mouth.

If I was so anti Wayne I wouldn't have spent close to 2 hours on the phone with him on Sunday, laughing and joking about this.
I'd love to be able to buy a ticket, problem is it's impossible unless you are InsiderZ who seems to have a source that not even Wayne knows about. have you bought one, or does your position as Head Janitor at the PDI office entitle you to a free one?
Do you even know when the show in NY is going to be confirmed because the theatre is still saying they don't?
Can I apply for a press pass to your PDI show? Oh no, I forgot, you're not that good at promoting shows.
Don't worry, if I am wrong I'll be here taking the flak. Question is, will you?
Talking of doctors, who was the one  who carried out the operation on Wayne to have your tongue removed from his ass?
