Curious for all the ones that could not bring themselves to watch it, when you are driving and you are passing by a bad auto accident do you just look forward or away or you check it out. I bet you look.
Never encountered an unwatchable accident. A child/fatal, maybe, no need for that. But video desensitizes, each is less traumatizing than the last. Oddly enough, the tib/fib snaps at sporting events are the cringiest. Executions are different. The savageness and terror are more unsettling.
I will admit I watch LiveLeak and other fucked up vids a lot and I am definitely desensitized. But the ISIS beheading ones I can no longer watch. About a year ago I watched an innocent contractor and family man beheaded and he started gurgling and I have not watched one since. The real weird thing is I am a very compassionate, caring man who comes to the aid of just about anyone in need, especially women. I can't explain it. I guess I am fucking nuts.
