He's tied right with Obama as the most poorly treated by the general public.

He's definitely correct about the media treating him poorly, but eh, either you can handle the heat in the kitchen, or you can't.

I mean. Maybe they were, but a jpg with a list of crimes and mandela's face doesn't necessarily make it true.

mandela spent his life fighting for democracy against a regime that allowed 10% of the population to vote (among various other barbaric practices).

after 27 years of incarceration he never held an ounce of malice for his jailers. if it wasn't for mandela's peaceful stance the end of apartheid would have been a complete bloodbath with all the whites either slaughtered or forced to flee. and no one could have really argued that they didn't deserve that.

The problem with Trump is that he put himself in a position where he was bound to get poorly treated. Had he been more sensible and less unbalanced during his campaign, he would most likely be very popular (among both the media and public) right now.

He would have imo. After 8 years of Democrat rule, the Republicans were always in a strong position to win the election. Hillary was also an unpopular opponent.
Any solid Republican candidate (Rubio, Kasich, Paul...etc) would have won, some even by a bigger margin then Trump.
