Guy apparently had a full-blown, mystery skin problem but decided to slather on the Pro Tan and go to war at the NY Pro anyway.

Quote
The condition is very painful and the cause is unknown. He struggled with the decision as to whether or not to do the show...but Guy is a warrior, as we all know. He decided to do the show, but the tan and the oil on his skin became unbearable by the time Prejudging was over. This is how he described his pain to me: "Michael, imagine getting into a scalding hot shower with a really bad sunburn. Times that by 100!" The pain became so severe he went straight to the EMERGANCY room. Tests were done and it seems his organs are all functioning normally. But the skin is the largest organ of the body, and something is attacking Guy Cisternino's. He will be seeing a specialist in a couple days to determine the cause. Some possibilities are Vasculitis, an auto immune disorder or some kind of vast bacteria infection.

Any updates?

I hope it's nothing deadly serious, but can't be good.

Nico, what could this be?

Cellulitus and the like can lead to sepsis. Can get very serious in a hurry.

None of that actually looks like the cellulitis. Back in 2014 I had cellulitis and both of my calves. I don't remember it actually really hurting but my entire lower legs we're about the same size from my calf all the way down to my ear ankles really 18 inches I only have one pair of shoes that I could smash my feet into couldn't even tie them. And let it go over over a month until I was sick one day at my ex-girlfriends and came down with a 105.3 or 105.7 fever n landed in the ER n got admitted for 4days. The cellulitis turn into sepsis and also endocarditis which is bacteria on my heart valves. And it up getting 24/7 cocktail of three antibiotics IV

I don't think there is another "sport" where athletes have to go to such drastic extremes for such little pay off, dude is a 2nd tier pro in the 212 class, what was the prize money for 212 at this show? Even if he would have won the show, it probably won't even foot the bill for his ER visit.

That is definitely aids of the skin. I've seen cases of it while working in the Emergency Room of the Port Lucie, FL hospital. It was a fat dumpy white guy, with a MLB pitching arm and a gang of 19 Ugandan sailors. Apparently there is a nasty chemical reaction that occurs between semen, Preparation H, fake tan lotions, and the varnish on the wood paneling of the Port Lucie Walmart glory hole.

I'm 100% sure of it.

I'm 100% sure the Pro Bodybuilding union has full medical coverage.

Like Obamacare for Thong Warriors or some shit like that.

Doesn't look like cases of vasculitus. Vasculitis is commonly caused by drug use and can be deadly. Quit rationalizing and wake up. Drug abuse is not healthy thing. I have no idea what that is on this guy tho.

and of course your condition trumps poor Guy who only had a rash.
