I have recently come to the conclusion that most vegans have dogs and feed them meat.
I could be wrong.
But if this is true it is a terrible thing.
I chose to feed my dogs fish, which I consider a somewhat lesser evil to kill. And only caught fish, not farmed.
Although dogs can be fed vegetarian food and be healthy, but it needs to be carefully planed.
Specist! Just a hunch, but the dog's ancestors main source of meat came tended to come from land based herbivores/quadrupeds? Not that they didn't eat the occasional fish, but specialized in deer, moose, elk, gazelles, rabbits, ground hogs, squirrels, occasional bird or two, and other animals extant and extinct.
Fish generally require some skill to catch or stealing from another animal, such as an otter.
