Springfield Police Officer Samuel Rosario now faces two counts of battery and one count of official misconduct. WICS reports his attorney Dan Fultz said his client is a decorated veteran who went on tours in multiple countries. 

Too bad. The kid's father should have been teaching him how to act like a man and a human being, but no surprise dad is MIA. Mom sounds like a total idiot. The cop did him a favor by showing him that acting like a wanna-be thug has consequences.

He won't get a dime.  Since he used some racial slurs and threatened him, it will be considered mutual combat as he didn't arrest him.  I'm sure he'll try but the money will go to the lawyer.  Cop was stupid bit it was a great show

Guy is a dummy, got sucked into a Worldstar fight, and didn't even put enough of a beating on the kid for him to learn anything. No PBA lawyer to defend that, so his savings are going to take a hit. I wouldn't be surprised if his partner got some sort of discipline for that too.

If a cop jumps you like that and starts beating you up, whats your recourse?  Are you supposed to just take it?  What if the dindu pulls out a punch from his back and knocks the cop out and the table turns, is the dindu now charged for assault?  What if the dindu pulled the cops gun and shot him, at this point isn't he protecting himself in self defense?  I'm surprised that the cop did that knowing someone had a camera phone pointed at him.  Dumb move.  Disarm the kid of the phone then proceed to beat the shit out of both of them.

I think the cop the proved that kid wan't as much of a badass as he thought he was. Cop said he would put his gun down and remove his badge and promised no arrest. How respectful do you honestly think kids are growing up in ghettos?
