I see that "Free Solo" won best documentary last night.  I might check it out if it comes back in the cinema.

What do you think is a greater accomplishment ... doing the first-ever free solo of the nearly 3,000 foot granite wall known as El Capitan in Yosemite or winning the Mr Olympia?  And who is the better athlete ... the best twink rock climber or a champion bodybuilder?

He comes off like that for sure in the documentary on this ("Free Solo").  It's an enormously impressive feat but he just seems like an odd, unhappy guy throughout.

Agreed. He's a strange one. I suspect he won't be with us too much longer. That ain't rocket science on my part... he's just chasing something he will never catch.

In the documentary she comes off as really needy and annoying (cute though).  He didn't seem too invested in the relationship, tells her point-blank to her face she isn't a big priority for him.
