- You have the blob that can't even move to go buy his own food. (unemployed)

- He/she needs at least one sick fuck 24/7 to provide the 10k calories to feed her/him (unemployed)

There is house rent to pay, massive daily food to be bought, and most of them have cars adapted to their giant size. All of that cost money.

Where does the constant flow of money come from? Obviously not from gay for pay.

Is american wellfare that generous, that you can eat enough food for 3 average families, for years?

Don't ask me how the hell someone can get to 600 pounds in the first place, but once there, the lack of physical activity, probably only requires a few thousand calories to maintain that weight. You have to think about it: These people are almost not moving at all. Nearly everything is probably stored as fat.

American Welfare / Benefits aren't that generous, but it is most likely covering a lot of the housing and medical for these folks. Also having watched the show, a lot of these folks live in what are cheap areas of States or in old family homes, sometimes a combination of both. So that helps a bit.

Food costs aren't crazy high in the States if you just want to get fat. You could probably eat like them for $20 - 30 a day if you didn't care about food quality.

Also a ton of enabling on those shows. Parents, kids, brothers, sisters, spouses all kicking up to those fat fucks, like they're Gods or something.

But there is a tipping point of no return. Once you get to 300, 400, 500 etc.....You stop moving. If you are laid out on a bed, like freshly poured pancake batter, for 24 hours a day, you would have a hard time burning 1,000 calories. It's all about movement.

I personally do not get it, but this is absolutely some form of depression. Just as some depressed people do not feel the urge to eat at all.

That's an ultra extreme example, but most fat people I see just don't care. Their families don't care. Their friends don't care. There's no culture of health and fitness.

That's why, even though we have all these great genius nutritional gurus/fuckholes, obesity rates haven't gone anywhere. You can't make somebody give a shit. It has to come from within.

No, if you have seen the episodes you will know that this is not true. It takes thousands of calories to maintain a weight like that. When these people go to the specialist doc in Houston they are all told to keep a 1500 kcal diet pr day and they will easily lose 30 lbs pr month. This means if they don't lose weight or even gain they are eating way more. To lose 30lbs pr month is 1 lbs pr day, that would take a serious cut in calories to achieve. The doc always says that to the patients that come back after a month and haven't lost weight he tells them you must have been eating 3-4 times more than you should. To go from an average diet of 2200-2500 pr day to 1500 kcal would'nt be that difficult but seeing them struggle with the tiny meals they have to eat it is obvious they are used to waaay more.
