Carrie Fisher-Crack Head.

So the autopsy results are in. Cocaine, morphine, codeine, oxycodone,  MDMA (ecstasy) and herion were all in her system. Lady was calling Trump a coke head and she was a walking street pharmacy.
A lady at that age with that kind of money has no reason to be on so much pharma. With the money, people around her, handlers, they could have put her in a treatment facility and saved her life.
Now, Twitter is blowing up about not disrespecting Carrie. Sad and pathetic.

All of that plays into it...but due to the timing of the infarction...while the plane was descending for landing...I can't help but think it was a blood clot from somewhere that was broken loose because of the changes in pressure.

When you are that young and that famous, the ego overdevelops.

Also, I blame Han Solo. Hit it and quit it. Ruined her perception of men.

Yikes, she was on a flight, not a frat party.  Why so many drugs?

And why are toxicology results coming in now, six months after the fact?  Toxicology reports take max 8 weeks.

Her reason to be on so much pharma was probably due to all her traumatic experiences as a young actress trying to get roles and make it in the biz, having to sleep with each and every one of the fat directors, screenwriters and whatnot

One of the things about her talking about her past drinking, drug use, and depression is that she claimed to be clean and getting help.

By the time of "When Harry Met Sally", she was supposedly clean. Also, she looks good in that film. Go back and see.

I'd hit it back then and she had to be in her forties.

So I figure she was either lying and still using, or she was clean for some time and went back.

I knew she was using once I saw her in "Star Wars - Episode VII: The Force Awakens" back in December 2015.

Yeah, she was pushing sixty-years old, but she might as well have been eighty-years old with the way she looked and the way her voice sounded. :-[

Drug addicts are unbelievable liars.  Normal people can't even fathom the lies they tell or the depths they sink to in pursuit of the drugs.  Truly robs your soul.

No they won't.  I tried some drugs when I was a young man.  Did 'em for a while in my party years and eventually got bored with them.

NEVER, There are so many GetBiggers on this Board who speak of which they know nothing, but I have found within my lifetime what you have said  above to be perfectly truthful and accurate.

I've never been a druggie but have been surrounded by those who seriously imbibe throughout my lifetime.

Have watched them die and even become politicians and serious contenders within the business world.

So there is some good and some bad to just about everything.

But only a druggie would agree with that!

They are ok.  It's the individual that uses them badly that's the problem.

People telling their kids horror stories about drugs are irresponsible.  The kid uses some drugs, doesn't experience the promised horror, and concludes the stories were bullshit.  An honest description of drug appeal and associated risks would be way more effective parenting.
