"Hearny" could still look great if he at least tried to divert into some sort of Sean Connery style aging. It's oversimplified to generalize it like that but maybe accept some wrinkles, grow a beard and still be big and manly. Arnold looked fantastic with grey hair and a beard - way better than his young tit persona.

When they realise they've hung on too long, instead of retiring in their prime and focusing on business etc  :'(

Yes, the aim should be 'looking good for your age', that's at least realistic and attainable.

If you are so stupid, so absolutely incredibly ignorant and lazy that all you can do is be a "guru" (i.e., drug lama) for the criminally egotistical, then concentrating intently on this one activity of drug adminstrator (as easy as it may appear to a third world third grader), then you are more than half way to insanity.

No one in the 70s needed a "guru". Today's bodybuilders are even more ignorant and Genovan in their minds than their predecessors.

Good luck looking 25 or 30 for the rest of your life, it's simply not realistic.
