I'm not saying this. Yes there has and always will be people pushing their beliefs. What I am saying is: News channels are spending a ton of time on politics when it was never like this.  I remember the early days of CNN and they would use snippits from around the country and world about local news stories and happenings. There were fashion shows and trends, Larry King wasn't political, Sports shows...All on CNN if my memory serves me correct. I get it...ESPN covers sports. So why call yourself a News channel when the 95-98% of the time you're covering politics?  Why not just be Politics News Channel?

Think about it. Don't let them make you lose the plot. News is everything not just politics.
