I happen to enjoy the franchise. I think that adding the Rock was a brilliant move. Sure it's over the top, but real men like action movies.

I will say that I have never watched Tokyo Drift in it's entirety. All I needed to hear, was that it didn't have Walker or Diesel, and added Bow Wow and some redneck no name.  ::)

I will say that something is definitely missing without Paul Walker.

The first film called "The Fast and the Furious" came out in 1955.

Here is my rule.

If I suspect the writers deliberately wrote it for people with an IQ of 80, I'm out.

And there was a very clear implication in that quote from Vin in the first movie.

"I live my life, a quarter mile at a time.  For those ten seconds or less.."

It's all about saying that he is driving ten second or less cars.  ALL about it.  It's douchey as hell and I was out, the moment I heard it.  If you go back and listen to it, he struggled with the line delivery because of how unnatural of a thing he was saying.

.. for the record, I was also out on XxX when Vin Diesel screamed "I live 4 dis shit!"

And to be clear, I like Vin Diesel in other stuff (riddick movies), I just don't like tribal tattoos or writing that isn't so much bad as written for dunce c.unts.

Hollywood, as a whole, is dead.  It had a good run, but that's over. Anyone with half a brain has moved on.  The Internet has opened up the world and you don't need Hollywood for your fucking entertainment. I can't remember the last time I went to a movie theater and can see no circumstances in which I ever go to one again.

You can live out your life quite nicely without the junkies and sexual deviants of Hollywood.

I remember an old-school bodybuilder telling me a story about how Dave Draper used to bang Tony Curtis's wife while Tony watched, dressed in drag. That's the real Hollywood.

There's a reason all these Hollywood fuckers always "act" shocked by everything Trump says. It's to provide cover for their own sick fucking industry.

Sick and sicker, starring Donald T. and George C.

This. Though, I think she is just fishing for a spinoff. The studio says there is only 2 more movies and then the rest are spinoffs. The rock was going to do a spinoff with Jason Statham, until vin shut it down.

She never did sequels, until her career started to go downhill. Vin also didn't came back because he wanted too much money, until he started cranking out shit movies.

Let's not get things twisted: Minus the Rock, every single person that has been in multiple F&F movies, owes their subsequent work/careers from being a part of the franchise. Fast and Furious made Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster.

Hell, it has even given solid paychecks to Ludacris and Tyrese Gibson over multiple movies. If anything, these actors should be thankful that they were lucky enough to be chosen for this franchise.

The original Fast and Furious came at the perfect time. It was the pinnacle of the car modding scene, and almost anyone could have been made a star for being in that first film.

No they all owe Paul walker, he was in every one, beside the 3rd one and the last one, because he is dead. No vin's cameo doesnt count in the 3rd one because he was in the movie for 15 seconds because he made a deal with the studio for them to promote his movie.
Tyrese owes walker because he got the part because he was walker's friend. Ludicris owes Ja rule, because ja rules is a greedy fuck and wanted too much money.

Paul Walker and Vin Diesel are 1a and 1b for that franchise. Fast and Furious 2 was decent, but it definitely missed Vin's presence. Then after the Tokyo Drift debacle, the studio decided that they needed the original gang back. Diesel was both humbled and vindicated, by the numbers that Fast 2 and Tokyo Drift put up without him. These days, he gets producer credits, and a major say at how the movies turn out.
Vin has been ok in the Riddick movies and others like A Man Apart, but he will always be typecast as Dominick Torretto. But don't worry about him. Vin Diesel's net worth is an estimated $145 million dollars.

Yes he has made a name for himself, and is a good actor.  But let's be honest. Paul walker was the star in part 1.

I Never said he was a good actor. He plays a good Dominick Torretto.

Paul wasn't exactly Pacino either, but they were perfectly casted.

Yeah, because Pacino is some great talent. Just another dime-a-dozen "thespian artist" who was fortunate to have been cast in some great movies playing well-written characters.

Acting as some great talent is a Jew lie.
