I find it funny how People who are so interested in American gun violence have absolutely no interest in the specifics of this violence and who is committing it. It might not fit your narrative of what the typical violent American looks like.

Moreover, the places where gun violence is most concentrated already have very strict gun laws. So, to deal with this violence will require extremely aggressive policing on a demographic that already believes it's being treated unfairly by police.

While I see your point, and agree these lyrics are cringe worthy, this is found in every genre. He'll even shit I listen to like misfits and offspring. Danzig "hack heads off lil girls and put em on my wall." Offspring has a great song called Beheaded...metal singers sing about Viking sword combat and smashing skulls and all that shit too. Mass shootings , despite what the media tells you , are exceedingly rare. And the fact that there are over 350 Million guns in the U.S proves that train of thought ludicrous. If more guns means more gun deaths , then by that logic , there would be mass murders on a daily basis which is false. Violent crime has been steadily going down since it's peak in the 90s and the amount of people legally carrying firearms has skyrocketed.
