I wonder if he gets his implants replaced every ten years like a chick with fake tits. Somebody would've noticed the scar from the back of his knees by now.

This gym pic of Arnold has always looked a little suspect. He is enormously thick here yet other pics of the same time period are a little more realistic.

Good interview with Roger. A twist on the Mexico thing - maybe it's just an inside joke that we're not getting? Said for laughs but not being serious. Just a thought.

Thank you! I don't know if Roger was serious, he sounded serious about it when he said it. I think Ric Drasin said the same thing about Arnold's calves.

Surprised this doctor isn't world famous considering no one since can pull off real looking ones. Arnold's calves never changed shape, lous for his 90s comeback,  whole different story

Callard didn't even meet Arnold until 1972. Arnold's calves never changed after that date they were pretty much fully developed by 1969/70 and all pics show it was a steady improvement from 1966 onwards. Arnold's entire body improved tremendously between 1968 and 1969 which was his first year in America but that improvement was in quality because his lost 5lbs in stage weight.

Roger clearly believes he was ugh better physique wise than he actually was.
That said he had a good build.

Comes across a bit to full of himself - likes to put others down.

As for Arnold's calfs - if / what he had done in Mexico back then
They still can't duplicate - That doctor / surgeon should be very
Well know.

1. 1972
2. 1973
3. 1974
4. 1980

72,73,74 are all basically the same, 80 is clearly down in calf depth (the head doesn't pop out as much) and thigh size.

I think it's just a great angle. That, combined with Arnold being in tremendous shape. He put on a bit of extra size for the '74 Olympia.

There are some more from around that time in the gym where he's posing and he clearly is bulked up but with trademark detail and definition.
Weirder is dying to get his cock in Arnie.

How did he train back in the day. I know he now does a whole body routine three days a week now but what did he do back then? What type of split. One article I read back in the day was typical volume of around 20 sets a body part.

1975 mr America. Callard beat Mike that day. Was it a gift? Sure looks like it.

Yeah, he sounded serious in virtually everything else he said. But maybe it's just one of those 'inside joke' things. "Oh yeah... Arnold got them done in Mexico... lol..."

Second pic is 1971. In that 1980 pic, his calves look as big as ever and were definitely a standout bodypart in 1980. I agree with what you said that his calves were phenominal in 1970 and didn't change shape but I think they did get a bit bigger upto 1974, arguably at their biggest.

This is a great pic, circa 1971 - 1975:
i still feel like Arnold's calves were smaller in 1980. Extremely ripped but down a touch. Thighs were down a lot.
