LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) – A new study figured out who the best and worst tippers are in America.

The study, by Creditcards.com, said the best tippers are men, Republicans, Northeasterners, and credit and debit card users.

The study said those groups leave a median 20% tip at restaurants.

According to the study, the worst tippers are Democrats, southerners, and cash users.

These groups all tip a median of 15% at restaurants.

Women are in the middle, tipping a median 16%.

However, the study said women are more willing to tip housekeepers, Baristas, and hair stylists more generously.

About 20% of all respondents said they don’t leave any tip at restaurants.

The sweet spot for all Americans is a tip of between 16% and 20%.

Not surprising. Liberals' area of expertise is in giving away other people's stuff as opposed to their own, and blacks generally excel at sticking their hands out as opposed to into their pockets.

Me neither.  If the service is average or bad I'll tip 20 percent, but if it's good or better then much higher than 20 percent.
