It is and its slowly working its way into the grocery store.  You can already get it at Trader Joes and Whole Foods Market.  Its a nutrition buffet of vitamins, fiber, and protein.  Crickets reproduce very rapidly and it obviously doesn't require much maintenance or processing

You won't even know you're eating crickets.  They'll start with adding it as a filler for things like ice cream, sausage, bread stuffing....it'll be labeled as something like entomorphic protein blend or give it a patent name for a blend of different bug sources.  


People don't think that they would eat the bones of dead animals but those products are listed as gelatin or collagen.  Hope that helps

You could tell by lookin at the insects that they are not mosquitoes. Mosquitoes bite and transfer diseases like malaria, so why would anybody be out trying to catch them, least they get bitten all over the place? Use your brains for once. They are in fact, midges.
And apparently, a patty is very protein packed, possibly more so than a beef burger.
