don't you think if it were true that his record would have been amended?

You can check them on Wiki FFS, has he fought the same guy three times, if so whats his name?

The next fight for Mcgregor already in the works.
(If pussy Mayfeather retires)
Mcgregor vs. Malignaggi
Dana White will have Malignaggi sitting ringside Saturday night, everything is carefully planned.
Malignaggi can go toe to toe with anyone in the trash talking.
Why go back to MMA when Mcgregor can make $50million per fight in boxing.

Conor: "Relax. Get over it. You got your ass whooped. Get over it."

Paulie looked so angry that he could've cried.

QUESTIONS:

What day is the weigh in? What time? I'm figuring dumb dicks ESPN will carry it.

Will we be prepared with links to this thing come Saturday?

Ah, right, and he would have got away with that of course because no one would have recognised him and the boxing commissions are notoriously lacklustre in checking fighters and their records prior to making matches.

Agree with your point re Canelo being protected but he didn't need points against Khan, remember that explosive sixth round KO?
Yes, but scorecards were rigged anyway, Canelo was up for two judges, one had him 4-1, when 90% of others had Khan up either 3-2 or 4-1... Canelo has his ass covered no matter what, if GGG doesn't stop or makes him quit, he would need a beatdown and knockdowns on every round to get a draw...

While you guys argue, I go walking ....

So I took a walk through the MGM Grand  after winning $107 on my favorite Buffalo slot machine at Hooters  and it looks like a lot of fight fans are on their way to taking over that hotel and most likely the entire town by Friday evening.

There was an official boxing ring set up in the lobby with a lot of cameras focused on a couple of fight commentators but I have no idea who the hell they were because it's been too damn long since I've been an MMA fan and longer still when it comes to boxing.

And another official looking ring set up further back in the center of the casino with a huge crowd of people stretching their necks to get a closer look at whomever seemed to be of importance ... but whom no one seemed to recognize.

Stopped to have a short talk with the cocktail waitress and the cigarette gal ($18 for a pack of cigarettes now! I'm glad I don't smoke!) and they are both hoping that the hotel gets filled up to its full capacity because they can sure use the business.

So I continued on and went outside to take a long walk down the Strip and find a place to get lunch but the rain came down pretty damn hard and me and a few dozen others took shelter in the closest street side establishment  which happened to be a Crispy Cream doughnut business .... so I decided I'd get a doughnut which I thought would be a quarter each but turned out to be over 15 quarters plus a few pennies each which surprised me a bit because doughnuts used to be sixty-cents and no pennies a dozen ...  but that was when a cup of Joe was a dime ... so times have definitely changed.

Then some industrious street kid standing on the flooded sidewalk was selling Conor/McGregor fight shirts for one ten-doller-bill each which was definitely a bargain with a full colored shot of both fighters on both sides.
A great looking shirt!

I purchased one but should have purchased more. They'll most likely be selling for fifty bucks or more this weekend.

Never did run into Floyd nor Conor but I did manage to poke my head into the big Money Machine bus ..... before being warned to, "Stand back! Stand back!".

SO ... bring a good Marine ... I stood back and continued on to search for a 10 cent cup of coffee to wash that doughnut down.

If I run into Conor or Floyd .... I'll let them know that most (but not all) GetBiggers wish them both the best of luck.

Gotta go punch something now to get into the spirit of this weekend!

Where's Marty when you need him??!!

i imagine there's gonna be a few, but unlike ufc theyre not going to pay for actual tickets but rather see it in a bar somewhere.

i wonder how many tickets theyve been selling. if they were selling at a good speed we wouldve heard about it by now.

cheapest seat like 2000 dollars? thats crazy.

I don't really think Tyson has a legacy, sure he had lots of knockouts early on but he was a manufactured fighter well marketed by Cayton and Jacobs.

Tyson showed his true colours when up against it, he only beat people he could intimidate, he won most of his fights outside the ring in the build up.
Tyson wont be talked about in the same breath as Johnson, Marciano , Holmes, Ali.
To be fair Tyson is still a huge name, no less than them... Yes he has detractors, but those guys have too, debates about his potentials, what-could've-been with him not firing Rooney and keeping himself disciplined are still relevant today, and many ranks him an easy top 10-5 all time at HW, his highlight reels of kos are still amazing... He was unique, small but furious, his resume is certainly better than Marciano, Johnson, Holmes, maybe not Ali, but h2h he would've destroyed all of them...

RATHER,  While at the MGM .... I did check with one of the ticket sellers to inquire about ticket prices .... but MGM is not selling fight tickets yet.

I was told that the cheapest ticket was $500 if ordered through some on-line ticket  site.

But all I can find is a cheap seat at $1,700.... but then you have to add on various 'fees' that are not shown on that website until you order a ticket.

LV does lots of shit like that  ... suck as advertising $50 hotel rooms per nite and not mentioning the $35 nightly resort  fee  even if you never even seen anything included in that resort fee.

Then add the tax and that $50 nightly room rate will come close to $100.00.

And a bit of a warning on the side ..... Never even sit at a Blackjack table if your winning blackjack hand only pays 6 to 5..... when it should actually be 3 to 2.

Such as the following:

You make a $5 bet and get a blackjack .... You only win $6 and get your original bet back at a 6 to 5 table You are being CHEATED!

You make a $5 bet and get a blackjack ... You win $7.50 and get your original bet back at a 3 to 2 table. You are playing REAL blackjack!

So in a 6 to 5 casino, the casino is keeping $1.50 of YOUR money every time you get a blackjack. You are paying them every time you win with a 21.

Sorry ... Off track. Nuff said!

Oh yea! It appears that you can watch the fight via direct TV in one or more of the ballrooms set up for the fight.

That price is about $300 .... but it does include an open bar but no complimentary parking.

Tyson MIGHT have gotten Marciano- the 1950's version- put Marciano on a modern day training regimen- no way Tyson gets him, The Rock had too much heart, stamina and determination, and he wouldn't have feared Tyson, he would have taken Tyson into the later rounds and finished him

Holmes would have sliced up Tyson, his jab was too good, right was lethal, had heart of a lion.... Tyson beat an old man who should of had a tune up fight or two

Ali would have gotten inside Tysons head and beat him BEFORE the fight even started- too much speed, heart, determination... he would of decimated Tyson just like Liston-

Frazier, Holmes, Foreman, Louis , Lewis,  Bowe, Liston,  a few others ALL beat Tyson

Another Tyson hater.. all my old trainers(soviet era), was always praising on how much talent Tyson had..

We had cuban, russian, romanian trainers visiting occasionally, they were all amazed on how that young guy called Mike Tyson would've destroyed prime Holmes, Marciano, Ali, etc, etc..

such wasted talent on that false rape case.. Holyfield steroid headbutter cheater only won because of obvious cheats

Marciano was a light-heavyweight from the 40s and 50s, his record isn't even relevant by modern standards... Just like with Jack Johnson, it's an horrible and laughable mismatch to put these ancient, smaller boxers against a modern HW like Tyson... Holmes would've got sparked like he did, even in his prime... Ali was a punching-bag with lots of suspicious bouts and results, never got the hype... A small cruiser like Frazier, blind in one eye, one-handed, gave him hell and beat him just bobbing and throwing the same left-hook over and over... Imagine what a guy like Tyson would've done... 60s Clay would've fared even worse as a chinny cruiser... Tyson is too athletic and advanced for all of them h2h, from these four guys only prime Holmes can give him some problems early, maybe, that's it...
