Looking back its hard to still say flex should've won. It may have been the best flex had ever looked but his best doesn't beat Ronnie 3rd best.

If he's stayed about 258 or so he would have looked like that all the time. He was 252 at that Arnold 01 and looked ridiculous. He kept coming in heavier but not as conditioned.

That's the grand prix though.. I always thought EVERYBODY looked better in the Grand Prix post Olympia shows especially especially especially in 99 which I think was flexes best ever (off subject, I know)

That was the theme of the 90s. The entire top 10 was worthy of first place. Now it's the opposite, none of them look good.

Yeah, Ronnie peaked at the 2000 BGP.

He also looked like he peaked at the hotel before the 2000 Mr. Olympia prejudging. He was in great condition and then all of a sudden at the contest he was holding water.

I believe that was the year just before going onstage he started cramping up with whole body cramps and he was going to call an ambulance but decided to cuddle a gallon or more of water instead and see if that helps you didn't care about the contest at that point
