Did he say the lifts were performed raw? They were probably done with a bench shirt and squat suit, in which case they aren't that unbelievable.
hahahahahahahahahahahaha

Great point! Jack is an honest guy, he wouldn't lie about something like this. BTW, just got down squatting, ass-to-grass, 138*10.

Yes, I used shirt and suit. I will say that is was not like the shirts they use today, It was the 80's. It was a basic shirt, not even denim. The shirts today put like 400lbs on your bench. The shirts back then put on like 80-100lbs.

Same with the squat suit, but yes, i did use this equipment, as did everone else.

By the way, my best squat, recorded, in  a sanctioned meet, was 871lbs-collegiate nationals.

I later squatted the 1000, in a local, closed meet, but it did happen.

The shirts today are amazing. Really makes you wonder what they will do in the future. The poor deadlift will be left behind. :-\

Well, not that you deserve an explanantion, I meant like the shirts of today. The shirt I used was like no shirt. if I had one of those shirts back then, well, nevermind, it's not woth even explaining.

Not to give you a hard time...but "no shirt"=raw...like How Kaz did it, Ted Arcidi used the same type of shirt as you woulda back then and he has never claimed to have benched 700 RAW..its misleading at the least...

WHO ARE WE KIDDING...YOU LIED AND GOT CAUGHT HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

I'm pretty sure that they just made up that rule. Ron never said anything about it before.

Height, minimum of 5'7", bf is dependent on body weight.  The higher the weight, the more lenient.  Gotta give a man some time to bulk up.

This thread couldn't be stupider, it wouldn't matter if Rhino out benched, squatted, and deadlifted Kaz by 100lbs on each lift...in regards to "TRUE STRENGTH" he isn't even a pimple on Kazs a*s. Newsflash for some of you morons out there... weights are balanced, even, symetrical, and they dont fight back. That is why their is a huge difference between real living weight and gym weight, and the same reason why you could put Rhino on a mat with a grappler he outweighed by 40+ lbs and he would get his a*s owned. The same goes for what Kaz was capable of, those WSM and IFSA events are in a whole different world than benching and deadlifting. The brute force, speed, explosiveness, and true strength that Kaz possessed makes comparing these two as logical as comparing apples to oranges.

I thought Bill Kazmaier was the strongest man who ever lived, the 3x worlds strongest man has even stated he thinks he is...its hard to argue with lifts like these:
Competition Squat: 925 pounds-wr

Competition Bench: 661 pounds-wr

Competition Deadlift: 887 pounds-wr

Total in Competition: 2425 pounds-wr

BUT THEN CAME RHINO!!!!!!!!! This veritable unknown has come out of the woodwork claiming to bench the exact same amount to the pound as Kaz and out sqaut him by 75 lbs all at a bodyweight at least 40 lbs lighter!!!!! Yet he remained in obscurity until the PDI because he simply lifts in "unsanctioned meets"

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAA This guy talks so much shit I can smell his breath on the other end of the continent HAHAHAHAHAHA

mark henry exceeded all those back in 93 when he was in high school...

"Okay, i was'nt an all-american? Go find out-I dare you. I was the coligiate national champion in powerlifting, yes an all-american"

since when has powerlifting ever been a NCAA sanctioned sport?

just because you competed in something called "collegiate" doesnt make you an a real all-american. thats like those retard juicers competing in the npc collegiate bodybuilding show that anyone can compete in as long as they are a registerd student at any college. in no way are they sanctioned or endorced by the ncaa. just another example of a bodybuilder exaggerating anything and everything he can think in an attempt to look good. they all do it, even the supposedly intelligent ones.

keep making up the bullshit like the "no shirt"......"well what i mean is no shirt like the shirt they use today". thats good stuff.

He meant that the shirt wasn't like modern ones. If he said he had used a shirt, people would say that it added 200 pounds to his lift and he couldn't do 500 raw. That's how this site is.

what part of "his site specifically says 661 bench/no shirt" do you not understand?

no shirt = no shirt

no shirt /= a shirt unlike present shirts

is that difficult to understand? just like every other bodybuilder, he is a liar.

The explosiveness of Olympic lifters is shocking. This other American guy is 5-8 and 335 and he can dunk without running.

joejoe, he probably should have mentioned what year it was and what kind of shirt. You are right about that.

Nope. The strongest man, of all times, has a diferent name:Greg Kovacs. The only Human being, !ever!, who could challenge a silverback gorilla for a strengh contest--although only the smallest and weakest members of the species. The largest silverback gorillas make Kovacs seem like a little girl, in comparison.
