Truth be told, I didn't like him and he didn't like me.

Still a tough situation for the family.

His daughter seems like a pretty decent person so I feel sorry for her having to go through such an unfortunate situation.

Last week , my wife and I spent some time visiting relatives in the  northern New England states.
We spent a couple days in Woodstock Vt. We strolled around the town at sunset and were blown away at
the peaceful , wholesome scene we were a immersed in. At the edge of town we came to a lovely, vintage church built long ago.
It's hard to find joy in heated political debate after THAT.

This experience changed me forever...for better. It gave me a life perspective, words alone fail to describe.
I'll always watch some news and read various articles.
I have no hard feelings towards anyone on this forum. We may not agree on politics but we all
share a love for liberty and decency among our fellow humans.

I'll still read and even post my political musings occasionally.
Perhaps my more measured, polite and less partisan voice will add to the debate.
If you choose to insult me that's your choice, as it is mine to simply ignore it.

Sen McCain has to be the toughest man in politics since Teddy Roosevelt.
Politics aside, any patriotic citizen has to admire his commitment to the USA.
