If he had a brain in his skull he would find another way to make money. He's definitely famous enough in bodybuilding circles to do so. GI only gave him the opportunity, its up to him to accept/deny it. He would only be able to sue if he wanted out of the contract for health reasons, but GI told him he can't get out of the contract. But he hasn't even tried to get out of it. He signed his own death warrant when they put it in the contract that he'd need to get on stage to get paid.

The thing that's gonna kill Flex is - and for a lot of these guys who have medical problems - it's hard for them...it's hard for Flex Wheeler to be Flex Wheeler if he's normal size. Flex Wheeler, genetically , the size of his wrists , his bones , he is the same size as me . He should be a 180 pound man. But if Flex Wheeler was 180 pounds and trim, he wouldn't be Flex Wheeler. Flex Wheeler will probably do further harm to himself, even if he gets a transplant , trying to get bigger. "

Just about everybody but him knows that, but still he is willing to sacrifice his health to be 16th at the Mr Olympia.  What will happen in the reality? He will be small, filled with synthol and those assclown tattoos. What judges will do is they start to mark up minus-points in their papers, and there will be plenty. What it means is that if he appear on stage just as good as Phil Heath, he would lose because he has those minus-points  ;D
