I'm seriously considering investing $4,000 into some cryptocurrency. Suggestions?

What percentage of the population is even invested? We're still below the ground floor? ???

I'm not sold on them. As long as it is money you are not afraid to lose...I'd buy A...one...A bitcoin...and maybe some ethereum and litecoin with the rest. Just in case. If it takes off in a big way it will be co-opted by banks, traded by markets as derivatives and taxed by govts. But if the value survives those changes you could be rich at some point.

I know, but all currency will be electronic in the next ten years. It's on the NWO agenda.

Much sooner than that... more like 5 years.  No physical cash means no more anonymity from government/IRS.  The TPTB will be able to trace, track, tax and control you at their leisure.  It will be interesting to see how the drug dealers handle this.

I agree... too late.

Silver is ridiculously undervalued right now.  Every other asset class is in bubble territory.

Wait until after the first week of August. Things are more volatile than usual right now due to a potential bitcoin fork

I have recently invested in cryptocurrency and I am taking it as a long term investment of at least 6 months to probably a year or more. Has anyone else made any investments this year in crypto? May say it's too late, but I believe it still has a huge potential.

Xrp and ada are my first choices.Bitcoin will be big as a store of value so I imagine litecoin will be big as well. Also looks like xlm will be big.

I am invested mainly in xrp but hold 1 bitcoin, some ltc and ada. Also big believer in digibyte.you will be kicking yourself if not investing soon cause it’s the future and is not going anywhere.

Long term in this field is min 5-10 years, I’ve been involved since 2013-2014. Besides scalability problems in btc, I still believe it will be the dominate crypto. Having said that if you are looking for short term investment gain then altcoins such as xrp, ltc especially might yield a higher return in 6-12months.

The next 5 years will be big for crypto, familiarise yourself with the fundamentals of crypto and blockchain read as much as you can and draw your own consensus. It really is a game changer and easy to use once you know the basics, it’s the money of the future I believe.

It’s very early and will be a multi trillion dollar market in a year or two.

I thought it was too late 5-6 years ago, how misinformed I was. I say it’s never too late for smart crypto investments, definately see it as a multi trillion $ market.

Sitting in xrp and ada is delusional. They were last cycles coins.Crypto isnt being used and is solely a fuel for speculation.New and shiny wins the race, not holding multi billion marketcap coins that already made their money.
