I have never drunk one. But I have drunk an ice coffee in a big gulp glass. It was pretty awesome.

As a kid used to get them and the trend was to make a "graveyard"  You'd mix a little of every soda. Fucking gross just thinking about it.  Luckily I was an active kid so I didn't turn into a barrel

I didn't care for the Big Gulps when I was a kid.  In the 70's, if I had a dollar to spend, I'd go to the 7-11 across from our school and buy a medium Slurpee and a Hostess Fruit Pie.  That itself was a lot of sugar.

The big gulp is only 30 ounces, which is the same size as a McDonald's large.  I have no problem finishing a large Diet Coke.  

Americans have become used to the larger sized drinks.  30 ounces for a cup just seems normal.  If I went to Europe, their cups would seem like shot glasses.
