Should I cancel my health insurance?

The whole point of insurance is to have a safety net in case the worst happens.

someone in my family has been in the hospital almost 4 weeks, luckily we are in canada on that part, however he has no drug plan so I don't know how he is going to manage the medications after which are probably going to be sky high

people have this misconception that health care in Canada is free, its not, we pay a shitload of taxes in this country and if you make a certain amount of income over I beleive $75,000 or $100,000 plus they add a health care levy that is in the several 1000's

Good part is yes, if you are hospitalized you are covered but the wait times for operations runs into months and years in some cases which is why those that can afford it go to other countries like the US etc and pay for it upfront

Sorry, but $295 a month is not at all a high premium for health insurance.  Obama care screwed everyone buying their own insurance.

This. If anything go with a high deductible plan to cover you for major catastrophic illnesses. But 300 a month is not bad.

They are just body reactions to muscle contractions....nothing special.  What does this have to do with health insurance, do you have some pre-existing conditions with your muscles???  In any event, Medishare is not insurance and  if they can refuse a claim you couldn't do shit about it.

If he's going that route, then he should get Ameriplan....a lot less money for practically the same thing.  Putting money into something that gives you no legal recourse or gives you any guarantees of providing services is pretty reckless.  I honestly don't know why Coach is doing this as he makes a great income this year.  One serious medical issue and he's cleaned out
