Most studies show at least that inbreeding is entropic. Also studies tend to show that women when put in a context where the social pressure is evacuated go naturally for men who have very different genetic background (that is not linked to racial elements- you as a white man, like it or not, might have a genetic profile much closer to a black man then to another white guy). It's just Darwinism well understood.

What is meant by "genetic background"? I've tended to think that most people are attracted by those who are similar in appearance to themselves.

The Swedes conducted a few studies years ago. Once, they had a group of 30 men and 30 women brought in. None would meet. But they had to sleep with the same t-shirt for a number of nights. Then each one had to go through the smell of the 30 person of the different sex and rate them according to how attractive they felt the smell was. Basically, what came out of it is that women specially chose men whose genetic profile was totally on the other spectrum from theirs. Which has noting to do with race, skin color or whatever you want to label it. Two people from the same race can have very different DNA strands. Just shows that reproduction looks for the best adaptive situation by adding what's missing. Doesn't mean that other determinism such as psychological, social ones, etc....don't play and sometimes one against the other (as in the article you posted which is ALSO true).

Shit I agree with him. I'll likely never have a baby with a white girl and I'll likely never date, much less marry and have a family with one.
