Oh come on.....reaching for crumbs here. Bodybuilding is NOT a sport. Powerlifting is...Olympic Lifting is. Hell...even CROSSFIT competition is a sport. But bodybuilding competition is not a sport. I competed many times and I never considered it a sport. It is a form of a beauty pageant.  A pageant in which muscular size and symmetry are the top point scorers.
You just said it was.

Posing involves physical exertion and skills, therefore competitive bodybuilding is a sport.

Are you saying that posing is not a skill? I am sure you have seen Bob Paris pose and others. It IS A skill.

The ironic part is that Paul Dillett, an actual athlete who played in the CFL, cannot pose. He therefore had subpar posing skills.

Its merely a pageant, nothing sporting about it. Unless "ghey" is a sport.
Training is just training, like all athletes do. A NFL player doesn't say his gym time is his sport, its just training.
BB's train, then get up on stage for their pageant / contest.

I remember watching a Frank Zane 4 minute video of him posing. Who today can pose for more than 60 seconds without colapsing?

Boxing is VERY subjective when there is no KO.

Most agree who the winner is among real boxing fans.

the sport is in the gym, onstage its performance art...if done properly that is.

QFT but then again we have all seen the lazy gym trainer who responds amazingly to drugs while taking it easy in the gym.
