You understand this is still America where you are innocent until proven guilty right.  You shouldn't be released from a team over an accusations, even though some fo that is going on.  Charges were dropped in the first two Ray McDonald incidents.  Lack of evidence?  Justin Cox was in the NFL. Tyreek hill and Mixon were both in college and punished.  Hill was more egregious then Mixon.  Mixon was attacked and overreacted.  If either of them get in trouble in the NFL, they are gone.  Peterson was his kid and not a female.  Gallete was never charged with anything.  Hageman's charges were dropped.  There's 1700 guys in the NFL.. This is really being blow out of proportion.

All of the aforementioned players have been arrested and/or charged for domestic violence.  Colin Kaepernick has not.  And yet, Colin is the only one that is drawing all this ire and outrage -- all for silently kneeling during the anthem  ???

I'm surprised to see that this is where the NFL owners have decided to draw the line.  That's all.

NFL teams are in the business of winning games and players with attitude problems that are likely to cause distractions have a hard time getting signed.  Distractions cost you wins in the NFL.

At the end of his NBA career Allen Iverson could still play but he ended up in China because NBA owners, GMs and coaches thought he was a cancer.  Colon Crapernick is no Allen Iverson talentwise.  He is an average player at best.  Plus his position, Quarterback, is usually the leader of the football team.  You can't have a guy like Colon as your leader.

I still believe he'll get signed once the season starts and QBs start getting injured.  He'll play like he always played....average...and people will move on to other things to be outraged about.

Obviously, I'll have to point things out:

You obviously don't get it.  Its all about fair treatment and equal opportunities as well equal punishment.  Statistics show that blacks and hispanic are sentenced to longer prison terms than whites who commit the exact same crimes.  Don't go and crow about the reasons why the majority of prison are filled with blacks....its because we get longer prison sentences and/or life sentences.  Not only that, when you see a guy tell a police officer that he has a firearm and he still gets blasted compared to the police subduing a white person who has killed and shot people...it says something.   Nothing pisses me off more than Dylann Roof.  He goes into a church of blacks praying and kills all 9 of them.  Not only does he not get shot up by the police but is actually taken to Burger King for lunch as a reward for killing a bunch of n i g g e rs in church praying.

Some white people have an arrogant attitude towards blacks and other races and none is more evident than from liberals.  They are actually the worst in fact from appropriating our culture, pushing ethnic businesses out of the way and opening up all white soul food restaurants and African arts craft stores failing to show respect and some common sense.   Then you have edomites like you who think that this country belongs to whites and actually think they have the right to tell blacks and other races to leave this country.  This country was stolen from Native Americans and Mexicans period by force.....white people are from Europe.  You have no better claim to the United States than any other ethnic group.  Of course, I expect from you as typical honky mayo bullshit.

We don't blame whites for most problems in the black community which is mostly self inflicted....however we are getting tired of racist white people failing to act civilized and respectful towards other races and claiming otherwise...like saying "I got black friends too or some other bullshit"... Roll Eyes not to mention looking the other way at actual racist activity such as George Zimmerman being set free despite that fact that he chased down a black man and murdered him in cold blood and then smiling about it like they did the right thing.  Self righteous racist devils some of you are.

Be lucky that the A R Y A N power movement is much stronger with Trump being in office.  But that's not going to last long....eventually its going to swing the other way.    The good thing about racism is that it usually ends up wiping out and destroying both parties.  So I'll have a little piece and quiet when BLM, White Lives Matter, Huey Newton Gun Club, KKK, Alt Right, New Black Panthers, NAACP, and every other groups whose business is to race bait for profit is wiped from the face of the planet

Vince saying a few somewhat reasonable statements doesn't undo all the other idiotic things you said.  Also, I'm just giving my opinions which, like all other opinions on Getbig, aren't worth shit.  If any of us were as smart as we think we are, we'd be out doing important things and not posting here.  Don't take me too seriously.

Also, I'd like to add for residue  that yes I believe institutional racism does exist.  However, unlike some people, I don't think it's an insurmountable obstacle that should force us to rebuild society from the ground up.

Just because you get arrested for domestic violence, doesn't mean you did anything wrong.  My friend had a crazy gf who stood behind his car and refused to let him leave.  When he put the car in park to talk to her, the car rolled back into her knees and she called the cops claiming he hit her with his car.  He was arrested.  You want people getting blackballed from the league even when the evidence shows a crime didn't occur? Kaepernick is a polarizing figure for the wrong reasons.  Stop acting like he just kneeled during the anthem.  He started off sitting on the bench during the anthem, wore socks with pig cops on them,  tweeted that cops were like "slave patrols", praised fidel castro, his gf basically referred to ray Lewis as a house negro and the ravens owner as a slave master.  The list goes on and on.  He's not good enough for people to want to deal with all that baggage.  That's the bottom line.

Excellent post.  Especially the last bit about him not being good enough for people to want to deal with all the baggage.  If he was super talented and he was able to consistently win games he would be playing somewhere.  No question.

Professional sports leagues are some of the few organizations left in the world that is still a meritocracy.

He'll land on his feet. With his multiple degrees in computer science, software engineering, hardware engineering, and mathematics, he's juggling offers from Intel, Google, AMD, and even the DoD. Wouldn't suprise me if he followed his dream and completed his revolutionary neural network, realized true A.I., and then started a trillion dollar company.

He can do much more than just throw a ball.
The answer is "yes".
