One of the first "crossover" artists ... even had his own TV show.

And he was truly saved, it turns out.  Despite erroneous claims to the contrary, salvation comes only by faith in Jesus Christ.

He was a member of an Ensemble of anonymous studio musicians that worked almost continuously...worked a lot for Phil Spector...

Met him many years ago, pretty down to earth guy. Bodybuiling related due to his skinny legs, i could tell right away he had never been in the squat rack. He lived quite the life, scored lots of babes, scored many hits on the charts, good friends with Elvis, stared alongside John Wayne. A true legend.
