I grew up in Encino, CA. There was a synagogue at three blocks down the street, which may have meant that there were a lot of Jewish folks in the neighborhood. Maybe there were. I never noticed.

If I attend a rally it's going to be a peaceful one geared towards senior concerns, such as not diverting funding for Medicare and Social Security to other places. How much money has the government borrowed from the Social Security fund? This Trust Fund represents a legal obligation of the federal government to program beneficiaries. The government has borrowed nearly $2.8 trillion as of 2014 from the Trust Fund and used the money for other purposes.

So I've racked my pea brain to remember what, if any political or social rallies and parades I have attended. I've been on the Capital steps in Salem to help raise education/school funding awareness several times over the last couple of decades. My wife and I attended the annual AIDS Walk here in Portland. There was a small charge for participating as part of a group of friends and acquaintances, all of which was donated to "Our House" which is a support facility for people with HIV or the AIDS virus.
