Really why?

Everything he owns may be on credit, he may own fuck all and just be paying interest on loans that he will never be able to pay back

Just look how many sports people have upwards of 100 million and end up broke.

Look at my previous post. I know things. That's about it.

I do not care if you believe me or not.

I will not engage your trolling attempts.

Believe me if you will.

So all this upping the training is for guest posing only, no competing?

Making money and promoting the brand, bottom line.

Nonsense. No one said he had to sit around all day. However, if he was independently wealthy--lets say he was worth 5-10 million--he would not be abusing his body like he is and doing menial guest posing. He would most likely be involved in other pursuits.

Its the reason why Jay Cutler is still not competing--he doesn't need to. He's financially set and involved in other pursuits. Levrone is not, which is why he is still engaging in pursuits as if he was still in the 90's. 10-to-1, if Levrone had Cutler's money, he would be doing OTHER things.

Do you really think he is engaging in these current pursuits because he just doesn't want to sit around all day?  ::) ::) No, its because he was not smart with his money like Cutler and has to earn a living--this is the only way he knows how to do it.

Is Flex Wheeler independently wealthy?

How do you know what any of these guys are worth? You claim Kevin is independently wealthy in one breath then in another you say he squandered his money and should be more like Jay. If Kevin has to lift and juice for a couple years to make a shit ton of money with his sup line why is it any skin off your back?

Wrong.

We all know why Kevin is competing.

Stop deluding yourself into believing that he is competing because he loves the sport of bodybuilding.

Yes, Cutler is most likely "wealthy" enough to not have to compete. I am not saying he's worth 500 million, but he has enough money in the bank not to have to compete. Perhaps "wealthy" was the wrong word.

Its quite clear that Levrone is competing because he does not have the funds. He's trying to gather any amount of money he can make in the sport in order to survive.

Yes, lots of sport people have money and carry on what they are doing; Tom Brady is likely worth a few hundred million and he still plays football. However, this doesn't often apply to bodybuilders since the great toll it takes on one's body (other than Dexter perhaps, and a few others). For the most part, if you're Levrone age and still competing, you really need the money.

Do you think Metallica (who are in their 50's and worth $200 million each member), or The Rolling Stones or Paul McCartney (who are all well into their 70's), or Rush who only recently retired (they are in their 60') still need the money? I mean look at Lemmy. He almost died onstage and that's what he wanted to do. He had multiple tumors in this brain and spine, yet plowed on until his body gave up on him, sadly on his 70th birthday. Same goes for a TON of athletes (George Foreman comeback, Michael Jordan comeback, etc), as well as actors who still act until the day they die. Some people actually have a passion for their chosen endeavor and just don't want to call it a day until they are forced to. Kevin has had no serious injuries or health issues (like Ronnie Coleman or Dorian Yates or Mike Francois) that he has not recovered from, so for him, training to go back onstage is something he seems to love to do and why not? He was the one of the best in the world at it. If he wants to come in dead last, that's his call and NO MAN should judge his motives until they walk in his shoes.

Wrong.

He would not be competing unless he has to. Its just a simple fact.

And although you make a case for other people who love what they do (actors and boxers), the difference is that they are not killing themselves EVERYDAY by sticking large amount of drugs into their body.

If youre competing in bodybuilding at 50+, its 99.9% likely that you nee the money.

Its just the way it is.

Levrone had no realistic intention to compete.  What's he's doing is all about staying relevant so he can sell seminars and his line of fart powders.

Ah no. He's already relevant. He's selling the crap out of his line and he placed last. Competing will do nothing for sales, in fact one would thing that it would hurt since he didn't place well. Kevin looks unreal for 52 regardless if he competes or not.

He's not as relevant if he were not competing. I bet his sales sky rocketed once he started to prepare for the Mr. O.

That is why he started to prepare for the Mr. O. His supplement line was probably not doing great; thus, he prepared for the Mr. O and he began selling the crap out of his supplement line.

Too bad he had to put his body through hell to sell supplements.

He looked great. What happened in the course of a few hours?
He removed his sweat pants.
