I don't agree with outright silencing a group. However, another group has every right to protest peacefully in counteract to what they do not believe in. You know how the Westboro Baptist Church protests at fallen soldiers funerals? Well, the Patriot Guard Riders counteract their (WBC) freedom of speech by forming a line in front of them and revving their engines. One group utilized their freedom of speech to "silence or subdue" another group.

But, in general, America is still the greatest country when it comes to Freedom of Speech when compared to most other countries.

There are many things the left has done which I disagree with: safe spaces in colleges/universities, disinviting guest lectures who hold certain political/religious beliefs, silencing freedom of speech. It's not true liberty. We should be expected to be kept reasonably safe from threats of physical violence or harm. Not from hurt feelings. On the other hand, I do hope, and perhaps naively, that people will come to have a mutual respect for each other and would not want to hurt others, even emotionally. However, that should not be forced or dictated--you can't force others to care about others. It has to be an internal process of  "finding out," a mutual recognition--but it can't be dictated or forced. The left is trying to force and dictate behavior--that will only make people more angrier.
