Is there any way to test for this?  I believe Dave Palumbo was selling steroid testing kits on Species Nutrition.

Fentanyl test kits are easy to come by, much easier than steroid test kits. They run about $2 each. If one gets stuck, some needle exchanges have them sometimes too.

Also if you stuck cleaning up a batch of it, Oxiclean is now considered an emergency stop gap cleaner for fentanyl spills.

Many get into these super-shitty drugs, probably, due to viewing all the "ridiculously devoted" users as being evidence of something good and desirable in the drug, rather than the effect it gives from withdrawal.

;D ;D ;D

As I have stated, I received a prescription of Percocet once, and it was literally the most heavenly substance I ever consumed in my life.  I couldn't believe how amazing it was.  This coming from a guy who is put into a state of literal psychosis from marijuana.  Do you have any idea how pleased I was to find a substance that worked for me when nothing else did?

Also, people are prescribed opiates for literally decades - they are not toxic substances.  The issue is dependence, overdose, and, realistically, constipation.

Those who have the psychological constitution to do it once in a blue moon and put it away don't have anything to worry about.  I absolutely DOUBT that there is any possible way a night Oxycodone is more toxic to your organs than alcohol.  When was the last time you heard of a person prescribed alcohol for 30+ years?  My friend's mother has been on Fentanyl since 1984.

Fentanyl.

Daily.

For 33 years.

So no - I don't have any firm reason to believe that opiates are toxic to the organs in any way.  As said, the issue is dependence and overdose.  If you skirt those two issues, it is most likely the "healthiest" drug possible.

WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS AS PERMISSION TO DO OPIATES.  IF YOU HAVE AN ADDICTIVE PERSONALITY, OPIATES MAY WELL RUIN YOUR LIFE.

I'm simply saying that for those who do not have ADDICTIVE personalities, opiates are probably the best thing for them.  I got a full health test during the peak use of Oxycodone and everything was perfect, including a resting heart rate of 47.

The fear in my mind is not opiates - but the possibility of fakes.  THAT scares the hell out of me.

And as you said, I am father - as of recently, to three children.  It would be wildly irresponsible for me to indulge in opiates on any sort of basis.  Is it ok to go to Cloud 9 once in a blue moon?  Why not?  Not that I'm saying that I do that or anything.  ;)

 ;D

Same, 100%. Thought I was alone here.

You guys might've had something with synthetic shit sprayed onto it.  You'd never know, until you lose your shit.  First time effects are said to be mind-twisting, while affecting some individuals much worse than others.

Someone in another thread pointed out that it was Fentanyl implicated in the death of Prince.  I sort of assumed that he was misusing a prescription, but actually it appears that he had fakes in his possession.  So one wonders if he got them 'off the street' or were the pharmacists distributing counterfeit products?  If it's the second then wow.......

"Medical examiners concluded that musician Prince died on April 21, 2016, from an accidental fentanyl overdose.[60] The drug was among many identified in counterfeit pills recovered from his home, especially some that were mislabeled as Watson 385, a combination of hydrocodone and paracetamol.[60][61]"

I think a guy like Prince probably ran the field at least once with doctor-shopping, and he was at the point he'd get it from any source he viewed as reasonable.

Other than dying, or the rare event of being busted in their mansion, nothing can stop a wealthy addict from stockpiling drugs.

Far as ridiculing his disdainful age, enjoy the moment. You'll probably never be insulted in kind. At your rate - fairly obvious to some - you're way more likely to win a massive Powerball jackpot than ever celebrate 50.

Not a jab, really, more like an objective wtf? Sure it's all worth it?
