WWE SUMMERSLAM Picks
« on: August 20, 2017, 04:39:42 PM »
Well, one prediction just went out the door. There will be NO MITB cash-in routine on the winner of WWE World title match.

So......

Smackdown matches:

WWE World title match: Jinder Mahal (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura. I don't think it's time for Funaki 2.0 yet. Mahal retains.

WWE US title match: AJ Styles (c) vs. Kevin Owens (Shane McMahon, special ref). I think AJ retains.

WWE Smackdown Tag Titles: New Day (c) vs. The Usos. Big E and Xavier Woods are the "power package" and that works better with the Usos. Somehow, I pick the Usos to win the belts back.

John Cena vs. Baron Corbin. I'm thinking Cena by DQ.....wouldn't be surprised if Corbin jumps Cena before the match starts.

Alexander Rusev vs. Randy Orton: Rusev needs a push and Orton seems to be charitable....NAAAH!!! RKO out of nowhere; Orton wins.

UPSET SPECIAL!!
Smackdown Women's title: Naomi (c) vs. Natalya. Well, there'll be at least one cash in. But, I'm picking Natalya to win the cash-in triple threat match.

RAW Matches:

WWE Universal title match Fatal four-way: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe vs. Braun Strowman. Somehow I smell a full Shield reunion; Reigns for the win.

WWE Raw tag team title match: Sheamus & Cesaro (c) vs. Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins. First, they'll get the belts; then they help Reigns. Ambrose and Rollins for the win.

Big Cass vs. Big Show (Enzo Amore in shark cage): The push for Cass continues; Cass for the win.

WWE Raw women's title match: Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Sasha Banks. Bliss retains

Finn Balor (Demon King) vs. Bray Wyatt: Demon King for the win.

Usos regained tag titles.

Big Cass beat Big Show....and Enzo.....AGAIN!

Sasha wins Raw women's title.

So, I'm off one.

A match about which I forgot was Miztourage vs. Hardy Boys and Jason Jordan. Didn't make a pick. Miztourage won.

Finn Balor (Demon King) beat Wyatt.

Ambrose and Rollins get the Raw tag titles.

Now it's the US title Match.

AJ Styles retains.....

Well, it's Nakamura's first LOSS in one-on-one matches. Mahal retains the belt.

Now comes the Raw Universal title match. Fatal 4-way. Ambrose and Rollins got the tag titles....will they help Reigns win the Universal title?

Good ppv. The main event was well done.

I was waiting for an Undertaker appearance though.

NAAAAH!!

I was hoping for Rollins and Ambrose to help Reigns. But Lesnar retains, after getting the dickens beaten out of him (mainly by Strowman).

Rusev got RKO and beat in 10 seconds.

Fans were chanting, "Where's your briefcase?" to Baron Corbin.

Usos and New Day really rocked the house.

Both women's titles changed hand, but no MITB cash-in for the Smackdown title.

We're talking the Beast getting speared through the barricade (Reigns), powerslammed through a table TWICE (Strowman), and had a table dumped on him (Strowman), carted out on a stretcher, returned only to be superman-punched countless times (Reigns)......yet Lesnar still got the win.
