A semblance of caring & stopping the awful things that are done to one another on this planet
And by members of his church to children
Any kind of striking them down with hellfire & brimstone would be nice to start with
Some actual physical observable action only an all mighty creator could perform.
I understand where you're coming from. Anything involving mankind gets corrupted. Sometimes its because we are evil, greedy, selfish but many times its because we are flawed and disfunctional in our thinking.
We show grace when discipline is needed or discipline when it is mercy that should be shown.
Speaking from a Christian biblical world view difficulty and hardship are a part of our heritage. If leaders are corrupt God knows. If they are good He knows that as well.
Why He doesn't act to prevent evil acts from occurring is a fair question, however if you examine Christian history it's easy to see that He will use these horrible acts for His grand purpose and plans.
He saw it right to tell Adam not to eat of the tree of knowledge, He created a flood to wipe out mankind, He allowed the Israeli people to be enslaved to the Egyptians, He had David anointed while Saul was king and Saul tried to kill David, He also had His son crucified.....
Evil has always exsisted, but ultimately this is God's story and He will use all of it for His purpose.
Again I understand if someone doesn't believe this, I'm only answering in context of if you did believe.
