The styling on those was one of their best jobs, IMO.  Like the old Model E, it stands long to time.

Too bad it was flooded, Vince.  But that's so, so common.  There are dealers everywhere who specialize in turning those over, very profitably, and only rarely to be caught.  They create a chain of possession which makes it tough to show for sure that they know (or knew) what's up, at least for any one sale.

If I recall you're a veteran so you should be able to get  100% financing

Even with conventional financing you can do 1-3% down payment

With the money you would have wasted buying and repairing that car you could have probably purchased a house or condo or something (I don't know your market but assuming you can buy something decent for 200-300k or so).
