And easily 80% of threads I post in are forcibly diverted to something "religious" without any prompting by me.....my mere presence in a thread brings it about....never fails.
A thread could be about farts and I post about a fart and someone would undoubtedly say, "Jesus didn't fart. That's sinful and so unChristian you would speak of farting. Hypocrite!"
I've seen you complain of this several times, now.
You seem to be forgetting you have a crucifixion avatar, as well as scripture passages below it, next to everything you post.
If you want to put your beliefs out there, that's your prerogative - I hardly think you can complain when people take you to task over it. Nobody likes being wrong (including yourself) and if you want to avoid defending the image that is essentially a small billboard declaring that you "know" a great number of people on this board are wrong, remove it. Otherwise, wear your flag with pride and defend every challenge. Those are your choices.
You'll have forgive me for drawing this extreme parallel, but exactly how many conversations would go awry if some idiot comes here and has an ISIS avatar? It's the same concept. It's a statement and you knew what you were doing when you put it there. Additionally, as you have continued to perpetuate and contribute to religious debate, you have only increased the trigger effect of seeing that image.
